A note from Crabbytown

Hey all,
Sorry we weren't online on Sunday night. We're in that joyous experience of three sick kids. They've had some very rough nights (including Saturday night) but they are turning the corner with that. Last night, they slept really well despite some coughing. In turn, the tribal leaders were thrilled with sleep. The major issue this time of being sick has been severe crankiness from all of them. So here's to hoping that a good night's rest will improve that today.
Well the day we've been dreading arrived yesterday: the day the gates don't hold them. I was loading Leighton into the stroller and came inside to see Paxton starting to shimmy down the gate. He'd used a riding truck to boost himself, wrapped his little toes around the bars, and hefted himself up. Gulp! Seriously, they are doing really well. They're working on using a fork, though it's often more of a drum stick. We're looking forward to our trip to MI next week.
